Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

This ICR relates to dried sugarcane biomass only.  

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Packaging - The following material must not be used as packaging: Banana leaves, Maize straw, Rice straw, Sorghum straw, Palm straw, Wheat straw and Leaf mould.

If required by the import permit, the statement “Dry sugarcane biomass for nutritional laboratory analysis in approved quarantine facility. Affic Q-Label” may be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Programs via email (EXDOCPlantPrograms@aff.gov.au).
