Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus) is not on the seed pathway and can be certified without citing any evidence.

Each package is to be clearly labelled with the identification of the seed
Plant materials must not be used for packaging.
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate dressing at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The parent plants were inspected during active growth and found to be free of Tomato spotted wilt virus and other virus diseases,
2) The consignment is free of San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus).
