Pseudomonas syringae pv. coriandricola, Broad bean wilt virus, Arabis mosaic virus, Tobacco rattle virus, Chalara elegans, Web blight (Thanatephorus cucumeris), Alfalfa mosaic virus and Cucumber mosaic virus are not known to occur on the Daucus carota seed export pathway. No evidence is required for endorsement.
White rust of crucifers (Albugo candida), Sclerotinium rot (Athelia rolfsii), Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae), Leaf blight of carrots (Alternaria dauci), Carrot black rot (Alternaria radicina), Bud rot (Gibberella avenacea) and Root rot (Macrophomina phaseolina) are known to be on the seed pathway for Daucus carota seeds. A crop inspection report is required to be presented as evidence.

Coriandricola, bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae), Leaf blight of carrots (Alternaria dauci), Carrot black rot (Alternaria radicina), Broad bean wilt virus, Sclerotinium rot (Athelia rolfsii), Arabis mosaic virus, Chalara elegans, Tobacco rattle virus, Root rot (Macrophomina phaseolina), Web blight (Thanatephorus cucumeris), Alfalfa mosaic virus and Cucumber mosaic virus.
The seed is to be treated with appropriate chemical dressing prior to dispatch, for the following pests; Pineapple disease (Ceratocystis paradoxa) and Leaf blight of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus).
Endorsement 8244:
A laboratory testing certificate is required to endorse freedom from Potyvirus carotae (Carrot virus Y).
A crop inspection report is required to endorse freedom from Leaf blight of carrot (Alternaria dauci), Carrot black rot (Alternaria radicina) and Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv.Carotae).
Endorsement 8310:
A crop inspection report is required to endorse freedom from Leaf blight of carrot (Alternaria dauci), Carrot black rot (Alternaria radicina) and Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. Carotae).
If required by the import permit, the seeds are to be treated with an appropriate fungicide and insecticide according to approved manufacturer's label rates prior to dispatch.
Packaging - The following material must not be used as packaging:
Banana leaves, Maize straw, Rice straw, Sorghum straw, Palm straw, Wheat straw and Leaf mould.
If any other plant residue is used as packaging material, the consignment must be accompanied by a certificate stating:
All seed, pathogens and insects have been killed before use of the material either by heating to 82 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes or by chemical treatment.
These details are to be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate.
