Consignments are to be free from soil, weed seeds, extraneous material, chaff, leaf mould, insects, mites and their eggs.

This ICR only includes;
  • Campanula isophylla
  • Campanula portenschlagiana
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Packaging:

The following material must not be used as packaging: Banana leaves, Maize straw, Rice straw, Sorghum straw, Palm straw, Wheat straw and Leaf mould.

If any other plant residue is used as packaging material, the consignment must be accompanied by a certificate stating: 
All seed, pathogens and insects have been killed before use of the material either by heating to 180oF/83oC for 10 minutes or by chemical treatment
A chemical treatment must be used to remove insects.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The plant or parent plants were inspected during active growth, tested and found free from injurious pests and pathogens.
2) San Jose scale (Diaspidiotus perniciosus) is known not to occur in the area of production.
3) All insects have been killed by chemical treatment before dispatch.
4) The plants were propagated and grown in a sterile medium.
5) The plants were inspected and found free from insects, mites and their eggs.
