Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


For endorsements which refer to 'using official procedures,' exporters are to provide either a crop inspection report, laboratory analysis report or area freedom certificate attesting to the endorsement.

However, visual inspection can be used for endorsing freedom from seeds of common purslane (Portulaca oleraceae).

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Seeds must be packaged in new, clean and of non-plant origin packaging material.

Refer to the import permit to determine the appropriate endorsement option.
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate seed dressing at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1414)
1) Using official procedures, the consignment was found free of Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 534)
1) Using official procedures, the consignment was found free of Fasciation:leafy gall (Rhodococcus fascians), Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv.campestris) and common purslane (Portulaca oleraceae).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 745)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free from common purslane (Portulaca oleracea).
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Black rot (Xanthomonas campestric pv. campestris), Grey mould-rot (Botryotinia fuckeliana) and Leafy gall fasciation (Rhodococcus fascians).

Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 5706)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free from common purslane (Portulaca oleracea).
2) The parent plants were inspected during active growth and found free of Black rot (Xanthomonas campestric pv. campestris).

Option 5 (EXDOC Endorsement 5707)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free from common purslane (Portulaca oleracea).
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Black rot (Xanthomonas campestric pv. campestris).

 

Option 6 (EXDOC Endorsement 6334)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free from common purslane (Portulaca oleracea).
