Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

The import conditions apply to wheaten straw pellets for animal bedding.

A phytosanitary certificate is required for exporting commercial consignments of wheaten straw pellets to Japan.

A phytosanitary certificate is not required for commercial samples of wheaten straw pellets. Wheaten straw pellet is not a prescribed good, therefore commercial samples of wheaten straw pellets do not require Authorised Officer inspection and issuance of an export permit.
