Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Consignment must be labelled with the correct botanical name (genus and species).

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of endorsement:

  • Item 29 - The plants randomly taken from a lot and plants with suspected symptoms are tested during the growing season or prior to export by an appropriate genetic method such as RT-PCR assay and found to be free from Tomato chlorotic dwarf viroid.
