Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Seed not being re-exported from Japan will be issued a phytosanitary certificate with No Additional Declaration.

Listed endorsements apply to re-export certification only.ie: Australian seed being exported that will be re-exported from Japan.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Requests by exporters for additional endorsements of seed for sowing being exported to Japan may be complied with where it is known that the seed shall be re-exported to another destination through a re-export phytosanitary certificate.

Requests for endorsements required to meet this allowance are to be emailed to: Micorplants@agriculture.gov.au for action.
