Certification required by MAFF Animal Quarantine Service (AQS) for consignments containing a calcium phosphate ingredient can be provided on a Certificate as to Condition (GX46) if requested. The certification text must be one of the following.
Explanation of the additional certification options
For products containing a di-calcium phosphate ingredient:
- The di-calcium phosphate ingredient contained in abovementioned products is of mineral origin.
OR
- The di-calcium phosphate ingredient contained in abovementioned products is of biological origin and contains no trace of fat or protein.
For products containing a mono-calcium phosphate ingredient derived from di-calcium phosphate and a di-calcium phosphate ingredient:
- The mono-calcium phosphate and di-calcium phosphate ingredients contained in abovementioned products are of mineral origin.
OR
- The mono-calcium phosphate and di-calcium phosphate ingredients contained in abovementioned products are of biological origin and contain no trace of fat or protein.
If required, certification of Australia's animal health status can be provided on the same Certificate as to Condition (GX46) for Rinderpest, Foot and mouth disease, Classical Swine Fever, Swine vesicular disease, African swine fever and Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia. These diseases are not known to occur in Australia, therefore no supporting evidence is required.
