Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


The following phytosanitary measures must be met to fulfill item 10 of the Annexed Table 1-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Plant Protection Act (MAF Ordinance No 73/1950).

1) The parent plants must be grown at a place of production or a production site (including a plant growth facility) where Near-wilt of pea (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. pisi) has not been known to occur or was known to occur previously but has been eradicated. AND
2) The parent plants must be inspected at the place of production or the production site during the late growing season and found to be free from Near-wilt of pea (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. pisi).

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
