Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Where Heliothis eggs and/or larvae are present in a consignment, the following TOLERANCE is to be applied:
- a 5% tolerance (per 600 unit inspection)

The tolerance is applied as:
Less than 30 affected spears per consignment = PASS
Greater than 30 affected spears per consignment = FAIL (ie: 31 infested spears constitutes a fail)
Tolerance is for infested spears not individual eggs/spears
