ICR only applies to fresh truffles of genus Tuber melanosporum (black truffles).

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Truffles must be washed and excess moisture removed prior to export.

All consignments of truffles must be clearly identified with the scientific name (genus and species).

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Note. Freedom from Phytophthora cinnamomi and Armillaria luteobubalina must be via area freedom certificate, laboratory analysis or through grower declaration.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 5809)
1) The place of production is free from Phytophthora cinnamomi and Armillaria luteobubalina.
2) Truffles in this consignment have been inspected prior to shipment and found to be free of pests, diseases and soil.
