Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 7584:

  • Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa) and Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina) are not known to occur Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • An area of production freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Witchweed (Striga spp), Chloris striate mosaic monogeminivirus and Rigid ryegrass (Lolium rigidum).
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici), Ergot (Claviceps purpurea), Bacterial leaf streak of barley (Xanthomonas campestris pv. translucens), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Foot rot of cereals (Monographella nivalis), Glume rot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. atrofaciens) and Barley stripe mosaic hordeivirus (BSMV).

Notes:

  • Chloris striate mosaic monogeminivirus is a synonym of Chloris striate mosaic virus.
  • Xanthomonas campestris pv. translucens is a synonym of Xanthomonas translucens pv. translucens.
  • Barley stripe mosaic hordeivirus is a synonym of Barley stripe mosaic virus.

1) Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa) and Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina) are not known to occur Australia,
2) The area of production is free from Witchweed (Striga spp), Chloris striate mosaic monogeminivirus and Rigid ryegrass (Lolium rigidum),
3) The crop was inspected during the growing season and found free from Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici), Ergot (Claviceps purpurea), Bacterial leaf streak of barley (Xanthomonas campestris pv. translucens), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Foot rot of cereals (Monographella nivalis), Glume rot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. atrofaciens) and Barley stripe mosaic hordeivirus (BSMV).
