Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments are to be treated with:

  • Phospine at 2grm/m3 for 96 hours at 15 degrees Celsius or above;

AND

  • Carboxin and Thiram (Vitavax 200) at 3 litres/ton of seed;

OR

  • Carbendazim 0.03% and Thiram 2grm/kgm of seed;

OR

  • Metalaxyl-M, Fludioxonil and translaminar Cymoxanil (Wakil XL) at recommended manufacturers requirements

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Pea enation mosaic virus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi),
3) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi), Mycosphaerella blight of peas (Ascochyta pinodes) and Pea seed-borne mosaic virus.
