Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

 
Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 941:
  • Eucalyptus die back (Calonectria brasiliensis) and Eucalyptus damping-off and root rot (Cylindrocladium clavatum) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
Note:
  • Cylindrocladium braziliensis is a synonym of Calonectria brasiliensis.

  Consignments are to be fumigated with phosphine at:

  • 2 grm/m3 for 96 hours.

Refer to the import permit for correct treatment details.

Note: Phosphine fumigation must be undertaken at 15 degree Celsius or above.

 Note:

The Department's minor use permit for Phosphine does not allow for Phosphine treatment periods of less than: 

  • 7 days when commodity temperature is above 25 degree Celsius;
  • 10 days when commodity temperature is 15 degree Celsius to 25 degree Celsius;
  • 20 days for surface only application in well-sealed structures greater than 375 m3 (300 t capacity).

In instances where the treatment period is longer than Israel's prescribed treatment period, the treatment period should be endorsed as "[Israel's prescribed period] or more."

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
