Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Exporters are to ensure that consignments are exported within 10 days of the issuance of the phytosanitary certificate.
It is not acceptable to Iraq when consignments are exported more than 21 days after issuance of the phytosanitary certificate.

Exporters are encouraged to obtain import permit or updated import conditions. However, a phytosanitary certificate with no additional declarations will be issued at exporter's own commercial risk.
