Endorsement 6261:


 A combination of crop inspection at active growth, area of production freedom and lab analysis certificates may be used to endorse freedom from the following pests:
  • Anthracnose Leaf Blight (Glomerella graminicola)
  • Rice sheath rot (Sarocladium oryzae)
  • Zonate leaf spot (Gleocercospora sorghi)
 
Visual inspection may be used to endorse freedom from the following pests:
  • Star burr (Acanthospermum hispidum)
  • Doublegee (Emex australis)
  • Sorghum ergot (Claviceps africana)

 
Note: Glomerella graminicola is synonym of Colletotrichum graminicola.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate fungicide at manufacturer's approved rate.

1) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure of Star burr (Acanthospermum hispidum), Doublegee (Emex australis), Sorghum ergot (Claviceps africana), Anthracnose Leaf Blight (Glomerella graminicola), Rice sheath rot (Sarocladium oryzae) and Zonate leaf spot (Gleocercospora sorghi).

NPPO advice dated 1 June 2019 and Import permit dated 12 April 2020.
