Seeds may also be certified as the synonym Lycopersicon esculentum seed on the phytosanitary certificate.
Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 3517:
- Applies to seeds of Australian origin.
- No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Tomato stem and fruit rot (Didymella lycopersici), Tomato black ring virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) as these pests are not known to occur in Australia.
- An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria).
Endorsement 3518:
- Applies to seeds of Australian origin.
- No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Tomato stem and fruit rot (Didymella lycopersici), Tomato black ring virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) as these pests are not known to occur in Australia.
- A crop inspection report is required to endorse freedom from Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria).
- Applies to seeds of Australian origin.
- No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Tomato stem and fruit rot (Didymella lycopersici), Tomato black ring virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) as these pests are not known to occur in Australia.
- A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria).
- Applies to seeds of non-Australian origin to be re-exported from Australia to Iran where the additional declarations required by Iran are not endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin.
- A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Tomato stem and fruit rot (Didymella lycopersici), Tomato black ring virus, Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria).

Note:
Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria is a synonym of Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria.
All consignments are to be treated with an approved fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirements.

2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria).
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 3519)
1) Tomato stem and fruit rot (Didymella lycopersici), Tomato black ring virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria).
