The plant import requirements (original and translated) must be provided to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignment must be labelled correctly with its full botanical name (genus and species).
Plants must be free from infestation/ infection of pests of concern listed below.

- Agropyron repens (couch grass)
- Alopecurus myosuroides (black – grass)
- Asphodelus fistulosus (Asphodel)
- Asystasia gangetica (Philippine violet)
- Cirsium arvense (California thistle)
- Cuphea carthagenensis (Colombian waxweed)
- Emex australis (three-cornered jack)
- Parthenium hysterophorus (parthenium weed)
- Praxelis clematidea (praxelis)
- Rivina humilis (pigeonberry)
- Plants may be subject to quarantine on arrival.
- Plants must be safe from reinfestation/ contamination and damage during transit.
- The packaging must be labelled with information regarding the identity of the plant, the name and address of the producer, the registration number of the production site from the competent authority in Australia, and the name and address of the recipient.
