Consignments are to be free from roots, leaves, soil and compost particles.
Shallots in the consignments are to be free from decay, rot and/or damaged condition.
Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
Shallots sourced from outside of the area free of Bud and leaf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor), White fringed weevil (Graphognathus leucoloma), Western flower thrips (Frankliniella accidentalis), and Throne's root lesion nematode (Ditylenchus destructor) must undergo irradiation or fumigation.
For Bud and leaf nematode, and Potato rot nematode
• Gamma irradiation at a maximum of 70 Gray;
OR
• Methyl bromide fumigation at 40g/m3 for 2 hours at temperature of 26 - 31 degrees Celsius;
OR
• Methyl bromide fumigation at 32g/m3 for 2 hours at temperature of 32 - 35 degrees Celsius;
OR
• Methyl bromide fumigation at 16g/m3 for 2 hours at temperature of 26 - 31 degrees Celsius
For White fringed weevil (Graphognathus leucoloma), Western flower thrips (Frankliniella accidentalis), and Throne's root lesion nematode (Ditylenchus destructor)

OR
