Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

 
Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Consignment must be labelled correctly with its full botanical name (genus and species).

Note: Small amount of leaf material attached and associated with the consignment is considered by Indonesia to be acceptable.

Theconsignment will be subject to post entry quarantine measure conducted todetect the latent quarantine pests.

Sugar cane cuttings/ stems must be soaked in a fungicide solution at the rate specified by the manufacturer. 

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
