Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

The import requirements are applicable to Processed Biomass comprising of shredded timber (similar to woodchips) and shredded paper and cardboard.

It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the consignment departs no more than 21 days after the phytosanitary certificate is issued. If the phytosanitary certificate is issued after consignment's departure, the departure date must be within 21 days from phytosanitary inspection.
