Original and official translation of the Import Decree must be presented at the time of making an appointment for an inspection with an Authorised Officer.
The growth medium must be solid, clear, sterile, and free from fungal and bacteria contamination. If, there is contamination by pests, the contaminated plantlets and growth medium must be destroyed.
The cultured container used must be transparent and packaged in such a way to avoid pest contamination or pest infestation as well as ensuring no damage during transit.
Consignment must be labelled correctly with its full botanical name (genus and species).
The consignment will be subject to post entry quarantine measure conducted to detect the latent quarantine pests.
