Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the consignment departs no more than 21 days after the phytosanitary certificate is issued. If the phytosanitary certificate is issued after consignment's departure, the departure date must be within 21 days from phytosanitary inspection.

If requested by exporter, a Certificate as to Condition (GX46) may be issued for the consignment stating "Fit for Human Consumption" in the Additional Declaration field to meet Indonesia's requirements. If a GX46 is required, the exporter is to provide a signed Manufacturer's Declaration with the letterhead of the manufacturer stating "I hereby declare that the information supplied on this form is true and correct in every particular and that the product described is fit for human consumption and acceptable for sale in Australia." It is the exporter's responsibility to verify if this is a requirement for Indonesia for their consignment.
