It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure any consignments of faba beans and broad beans are exported with a certificate of analysis issued by Symbio Laboratories, Brisbane. Certificates issued for NRS testing of faba beans and broad beans for the Indonesian market can be used. If testing was not for NRS, the exporter must still obtain a certificate of analysis issued by Symbio Laboratories, Brisbane. The name of the laboratory and the certificate reference number must be lodged in the Indonesia Prior Notice System. Faba bean and broad bean consignments exported without these certificates will be delayed or redirected for sampling and testing by Indonesian authorities.
