Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the consignment departs no more than 21 days after the phytosanitary certificate is issued. If the phytosanitary certificate is issued after consignment's departure, the departure date must be within 21 days from phytosanitary inspection.

Explanation of the endorsement:

Endorsement 6822:
  • CiLRV (Citrus leaf rugose ilarvirus) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer of a representative sample during phytosanitary inspection may be used to endorse freedom from Mango seed weevil (Strenochetus mangiferae), Couch grass (Agropyron repens), Black-grass (Alopecurus myosuroides), Onion weed (Asphodelus fistulosus), Creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense), Chinese violet (Asystasia gangetica), Colombian wackweed (Cuphea carthagenensis), Spiny emex (Emex australis), Parthenium weeds (Parthenium hysterophorus), Praxelis (Praxelis clematidea) and Pigeonberry (Rivina humilis).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Sclerotinia wilt (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum), Brown rot of citrus fruit (Phytophthora citrophthora), Wilt of citrus (Plenodomus tracheiphilus), Blast of citrus (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae), Bacterial rot (Pseudomonas viridiflava), ASGV (Apple stem grooving capilovirus) and CEVD (Citrus exocortis pospoviroid).
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

2) The consignment was found free through official inspection and testing procedures of Mango seed weevil (Strenochetus mangiferae), Sclerotinia wilt (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum), Brown rot of citrus fruit (Phytophthora citrophthora), Wilt of citrus (Plenodomus tracheiphilus), Blast of citrus (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae), Bacterial rot (Pseudomonas viridiflava), ASGV (Apple stem grooving capilovirus), CEVD (Citrus exocortis pospoviroid), Couch grass (Agropyron repens), Black-grass (Alopecurus myosuroides), Onion weed (Asphodelus fistulosus), Creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense), Chinese violet (Asystasia gangetica), Colombian wackweed (Cuphea carthagenensis), Spiny emex (Emex australis), Parthenium weeds (Parthenium hysterophorus), Praxelis (Praxelis clematidea) and Pigeonberry (Rivina humilis).
