Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the consignment departs no more than 21 days after the phytosanitary certificate is issued. If the phytosanitary certificate is issued after consignment's departure, the departure date must be within 21 days from phytosanitary inspection.


Explanation of Endorsement 6769

Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer of a representative sample during phytosanitary inspection may be used to endorse freedom from the following pests:
  • Ryegrass stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis)
  • Sugary diseases (Claviceps purpurea)
  • Fishing-net plant (Rhamphicarpa fistulosa)
Crown shealth rot (Gaeumannomyces graminis) is a soilborne fungus and infects the roots of its hosts. It is not on the seed export pathway. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.

A combination of crop inspection, area of production freedom (certificate for state freedom from the state department) and laboratory test reports may be used to endorse freedom from the following pests:
  • Sorghum anthracnose (Colletotrichum sublineolum)
  • Red stalk rot of cereals (Glomerella graminicola)
  • Foot rot of cereals (Micronectriella nivalis)
  • Net blotch (Pyrenophore teres)
  • Cremonium wilt (Sarocladium strictum)
  • Cereal cyst nematode (Heterodera avenae)
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The consignment was found free through official inspection and testing procedures of Ryegrass stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis), Sugary diseases (Claviceps purpurea), Sorghum anthracnose (Colletotrichum sublineolum), Crown shealth rot (Gaeumannomyces graminis), Red stalk rot of cereals (Glomerella graminicola), Foot rot of cereals (Micronectriella nivalis), Net blotch (Pyrenophore teres), Cremonium wilt (Sarocladium strictum), Cereal cyst nematode (Heterodera avenae) and Fishing-net plant (Rhamphicarpa fistulosa).
