Consignments are to be free from soil, pests and evidence of disease.


Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments are to be treated in accordance with the treatment requirement stated on the import permit.

Consignments are to be fumigated with Methyl bromide at:

  • 32 grm/m3 for 2 hours at 21 degrees celsius.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
