Explanation of the endorsements
- Scab (Elsinoe phaseoli) and leaf blight of Phaseolus bean (Phytophthora phaseoli) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required for endorsing freedom from these pests.
- An area freedom certificate, a crop inspection report or a laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Phomopsis seed decay (Phomopsis longicolla) and Bacterial wilt (Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens pv. Flaccumfaciens).
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Bean bruchid (Acanthoscelides obtectus).
