Australian exporters are encouraged to check with their importers for current import conditions prior to certification being issued by the department.
To facilitate trade, a certificate as to Conditions may be issued with the following statement when requested by the exporter:
"Rolled oats has been mechanically hulled to produce oat groats and then steamed at 100 degree Celsius and above for ---- minutes. Steamed oats are flattened into rolled oat flakes to create rolled oats".
This statement will be based on manufacturer's declaration on the heat treatment process.
