Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments will be subject to Post-Entry quarantine upon arrival in India.

Note:
  • Plants can be exported in soil/cocopeat sphagnum moss or other growing media of plant origin fore example pine bark (Pinus radiata).
  • Growing media should be treated prior to export.

Treatment of the growing media

  • Steam heat (autoclave) at 121°C for 30 minutes at 15 psi.  

The details of the treatment must be mentioned in the product description field of the RFP as stated below:

  • 'The growing media has been autoclaved at 121 degrees celsius for 30 minutes at 15 PSI'. 

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement No 5644)
1) The plants were inspected and found free from White Wax Scale (Ceroplastes destructor), Soybean Looper (Chrysodeixis includens), Light Brown Apple Moth (Epiphyas postvittana), Redshouldered Leaf Beetle (Monolepta australis), Fuller's Rose Beetle (Pantomorus cervinus), Phytophthora cryptogea, Bacterial Gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes) and Avocado sunblotch viroid. 
2) The growing media has been treated and is free from insect pests, nematodes, microbes, quarantine weed and soil.
