Explanation of endorsements

Endorsements 3957

  • Pea cyst nematode (Heterodera goettingiana) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Stem and Bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Bruchids (Bruchidius spp, Specularis impressithorax).
  • All consignments must be free from India's quarantine weed seeds as per Schedule VIII of PQ Order 2003. Exporter must provide a laboratory analysis certificate attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
  • In Addition, visual inspection by the Authorised Officer must be undertaken as per instructional m aterial for endorsing freedom from the following quarantine weed seeds.
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from soil (as per normal tolerances).

3) The consignment is free from Bruchids (Bruchidius spp, Specularis impressithorax) and Quarantine weed seeds,
4) The consignment is free from soil.

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 3959)

2) The product has been grown in an area where Stem and Bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Bruchids (Bruchidius spp and Specularis impressithorax) are known not to occur,
3) The consignment is free from quarantine weed seeds,
4) The consignment is free from soil.
