Endorsement 1828:
- Freedom from Soybean looper (Chrysodeixis includens), Grey field slug (Deroceras reticulatum) and Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum), may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate based on visual inspection by the Authorised Officer.
- A crop inspection certificate or laboratory analysis certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Hop bare-bine (Arabis mosaic virus) and Common broomrape (Orobanche minor).
- Pseudomonas syringae pv. tagetis (bacterial: Tagetes spp. leaf spot), Bacterial gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes) and Sclerotinia disease of lettuce (Sclerotinia minor)are considered not to be on Lactuca sativa seed exports pathway, and freedom from these pests may be endorsed without sighting supporting evidence.
- All consignments must be free from India's Quarantine weed seeds as per schedule VIII of PQ order 2003. Exporter must provide a laboratory analysis certificate attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

Consignment is to be treated with phosphine at 3 grams per cubic metre. India does not specify the duration or temperature at which this must occur.
In order to proceed with fumigation at this rate, please contact the Grain and Seed Exports Program at Grain.Export@aff.gov.au.
