The ICRs are applicable to Logs with and without bark.
Freedom from the following pests can be endorsed on the basis of visual inspectin by the Authorised Officer:
- Black pine bark beetle (Hylastes ater),
- Annosum root rot (Heterobasidion annosum),
- Tomato foot rot (Phytophthora cryptogea),
- Gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes),
- Spined pine borer (Ergates spiculatus),
- Swiss needle cast (Phaeocryptopus gaeumannii),
- Root rot (Phytophthora megasperma),
- Steel-blue wood wasp (Sirex juvencus),
- Sirex wasp fungus (Amylostereum areolatum) and House longhorn beetle (Hylotrupes bajulus),
- Sirex wasp fungus (Amylostereum areolatum),
- Gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes),
- Root rot (Phytophthora megasperma) and Annosum root rot (Heterobasidion annosum).
- Symptoms of Sirex wasp fungus (Amylostereum areolatum).
- Symptoms of Gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes)
- Symptoms of Root rot (Phytophthora megasperma)
- Symptoms of Annosum root rot (Heterobasidion annosum)
- Symptoms of Tomato foot rot (Phytophthora cryptogea)
- Symptom Swiss needle cast (Phaeocryptopus gaeumannii)
No evidence is required to endorse freedom from the following pests as they are not known to occur in Australia:
- Pitch canker (Gibberella circinata)
- Strawberry root weevil (Otiorhynchus ovatus)
- Vascular mycosis of oak (Ophiostoma piceae)
OR
The Indian NPPO accepts the following dosage compensation for methyl bromide fumigation applied at temperatures between 10 and 21 degrees Celsius:
- 56 grm/m3 at 16 - 20 degrees Celsius for 24 hours at NAP;
OR
- 64 grm/m3 at 11 - 15 degrees Celsius for 24 hours at NAP.
- 72 grm/m3 at 10 degrees Celsius for 24 hours at NAP.
Note: Methyl bromide fumigation is not permitted at temperatures of below 10 degrees Celsius. Dosage compensation is not permitted for temperatures above 21 degrees Celsius.
OR
- Heat treatment at 56 degree Celsius (core temperature) for 30 minutes.
