Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 2879:
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).
Endorsement 2880:
  • An area freedom certificate from the state government of the state of production is required to endorse freedom from Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).
Endorsement 2881:
  • A laboratory testing certificate is required to endorse freedom from Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 2879)
1) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 2880)
1) Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris) is not known to occur in the area of production.

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 2881)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).
