Note: The department cannot issue non-GM certification or an Export Statement on behalf of the OGTR for canola (Brassica napus and B. rapa) as genetically modified canola (Brassica napus) has been approved for commercial release in Australia.
Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 4884:
- Anthracnose (Collectrotrichum higginsianum) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava) and Leaf spot of radish (Xanthomonas campestris pv raphani).
- All consignments must be free from India's quarantine weed seeds as per Schedule VIII of PQ Order 2003. Exporter must provide a laboratory analysis certificate attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
- In Addition, visual inspection by the Authorised Officer must be undertaken as per instructional material for endorsing freedom from the following quarantine weed seeds.
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from soil (as per normal tolerances).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 4885)
1) Anthracnose (Collectrotrichum higginsianum) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava) and Leaf spot of radish (Xanthomonas campestris pv raphani),
3) The consignment is free from quarantine weed seeds as per schedule VIII of PQ order 2003,
4) The consignment is free from soil.
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 4886)
