Endorsement 5454
- Visual inspection of a representative sample is required for endorsing freedom from Seed bruchid (Stator pruininus).
- Groundnut scab (Sphaceloma arachidis), Peanut stripe virus, Peanut stunt virus and Testa nematode (Aphelenchoides arachidis) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to be cited for endorsement.
- The exporter is to provide an area freedom certificate, crop inspection report and/or laboratory analysis to endorse freedom from Tobacco streak virus and Bacterial wilt (Burkholderia solanacearum).
- All consignments must be free from India's quarantine weed seeds as per Schedule VIII of PQ Order 2003. Exporter must provide a laboratory analysis certificate attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
- In Addition, visual inspection by the Authorised Officer must be undertaken as per instructional material for endorsing freedom from the following quarantine weed seeds.
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from soil (as per normal tolerances).
Note: Burkholderia solanacearum is a synonym of Ralstonia solanacearum.

1) The consignment is free from Seed bruchid (Statorpruininus), Bacterial wilt (Burkholderia solanacearum), Groundnut scab(Sphaceloma arachidis), Peanut stripe virus, Peanut stunt virus, Tobacco streakvirus and Testa nematode (Aphelenchoides arachidis).
