Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure phytosanitary certificates are issued not more than 14 days prior to the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date in the Request for Permit.

Seed not being re-exported from Hong Kong will be issued a phytosanitary certificate with No Additional Declaration.

Listed endorsements apply to re-export certification only. (Australian seed being exported that will be re-exported from Hong Kong.)

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

For Endorsement 929, consignments must be free from India's Quarantine weed seeds as per schedule VIII of PQ order 2003. Exporter must provide a laboratory analysis certificate attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

Requests by exporters for additional endorsements of seed for sowing being exported to Hong Kong may be complied with where it is known that the seed shall be re-exported to another destination through a re-export phytosanitary certificate.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 929)
Additional Official Phytosanitary Information:
1) The parent plants were inspected during the growing seasonand found free from Black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans), Bacterial leaf blightof tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonassyringae pv maculicola) and Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv campestris),
2) The consignment is free of quarantine weed seeds as perschedule VIII of PQ order 2003,
3) The consignment is free from soil.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 7873)
Additional Official Phytosanitary Information:
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of American serpentine leaf-miner (Liriomyza trifolii),
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Blackleg/Phoma lingam (Leptosphaeria maculans), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato/ Bacterial Leaf Blight (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola) and Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).
Existing market and exporter request for re-export declaration dated 11 July 2018 and 15 August 2024, Cap. 207 Plant (Importation and Pest Control) Ordinance sighted 12 October 2023.
