:

  • When exporting prescribed grains (barley, canola, chickpeas, dried field peas, faba beans, lentils, lupins, mung beans, oats, sorghum, soybeans, wheat or whole vetch), a Request for Permit (RFP) must be raised, the product inspected by an Authorised Officer and an export permit issued. Exporters should verify if the goods are prescribed under the Export Control (Plants and Plant Products) Order 2011.
  • A phytosanitary certificate may be issued for the purpose of re-export. For any consignment containing grain/seeds to be re-exported from Hong Kong, the exporter is to advise the Authorised Officer at the time of making an appointment for inspection.
