Mung beans being exported to the European Union for the purpose of sprouting require a Phytosanitary Certificate and a Certificate as to Condition (EX46A). At the time of inspection the exporter must provide signed Australian Mungbean Association commodity vendor declarations (available from www.mungbean.org.au) linked to the consignment. The declarations will be used to certify on a Certificate as to Condition (EX46A) the following declaration:
I, (insert full name), hereby declare that I am aware of the relevant provisions of Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 and certify that the seeds described above were produced under conditions which comply with Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 and in particular with the hygiene provisions for primary production and associated operations set out in Part A of Annex 1 thereto.
