Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Fruit must not have exceeded maturity stage (3/4 unripe and 1/4 ripe) prior to export.
Consignments certified under endorsement 6105, are to be treated by:

Cold disinfestation, which may be undertaken on-shore or in-transit

Treatment against Bactrocera spp. for exports from all states except Western Australia:

  • 0 degrees Celsius, or below, for a minimum of 12 days;

OR

  • 2.5 degrees Celsius, or below, for a minimum of days.

Treatment against Ceratitis capitata for exports from Western Australia only:

  • 0 degrees Celsius, or below, for a minimum of 10 days;

OR

  • 2.5 degrees Celsius, or below, for a minimum of 16 days.

Treatment undertaken in-transit will not be certified on the Phytosanitary certificate.

OR

Fumigation with methyl bromide according to the following dose rates:

  • 48 g / m3 for 2 hours at a temperature of 10-15 ° C

OR

  • 40 g / m3 for 2 hours at a temperature of 16-21 ° C

OR

  • 32 g / m3 for 2 hours at a temperature of 22-27 ° C

OR

  • 24 g / m3 for 2 hours at a temperature of 28-32 ° C


The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 5742)
1) No fruit flies (Bactrocera spp and Ceratitis capitata) have been found over the past 12 months within an 80km radius of the place where the fruits were produced and packaged, 
2) Potato spindle tuber viroid are not known to occur in the area of production.
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Western flower thrip (Frankliniella occidentalis) and Tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 6105)
1) Potato spindle tuber viroid are not known to occur in the area of production.
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Western flower thrip (Frankliniella occidentalis) and Tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci).
