Only horticultural varieties produced by seed companies are allowed to be exported

Explanation of the endorsements:
Endorsement 7472

  •  Bacterial blight of passionfruit (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. passiflorae) and Passionfruit Ringspot Virus are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A laboratory testing certificate is required to endorse freedom from Pseudomonas syringae pv. passiflorae and Passion fruit woodiness virus (PWV):

Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers’ requirements

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
