Explanation of the endorsements:
Endorsement 4106
- Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas axonopodis [campestris] pv citri and Xanthomonas axonopodis [campestris] pv aurantifolii) are known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
Consignments are to be treated by:
- Dusting with any suitable fungicide and insecticide at the manufacturers registered label rate;
OR
- Hot water treatment at 52 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes;
OR
- Dipping in a disinfecting solution of n-alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride at 1.5 mL/L for 5 minutes;
OR
- Dipping in an 8-Hydroxyquinoline sulfate solution at the manufacturers registered label rate.
