Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.


An Additional declaration is not required for seed that will not be re-exported from France.

Listed Additional declarations are for consignments that will be re-exported from France.

For any consignments in which the seed is intended to be re-exported from France, the exporter to advise at time of making the appointment.

Additional Official Phytosanitary Information:
1) Leaf spot (Phoma valerianellae) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Bacterial spot disease (Acidovorax vallerianellae) and Grey mould (Botrytis cinerea).
EU Directive 2000/29 and a written submission from the Exporter dated 10 January 2020 for additional declarations for re-export of seeds of Australian origin from France.
