Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 7840:
- Applies to seeds of non-Australian origin which have been tested in Australia.
- A laboratory analysis certificate endorsing test results of seeds by PCR methodology of Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) and Tomato mottle mosaic virus (ToMMV) is required as evidence to endorse freedom from the listed pests.
- A laboratory analysis certificate endorsing test results of seeds by RT-PCR methodology of Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd), Tomato chlorotic dward viroid (TCDVd) and Tomato apical stunt viroid (TASVd) is required as evidence to endorse freedom from the listed pests.
- A laboratory analysis certificate endorsing test results of seeds by PCR or ELISA methodology of Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV), Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV), Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), Tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV), Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV) is required as evidence to endorse freedom from the listed pests.
- If required by the import permit, results of testing completed in Australia must be submitted to the NPPO of Fiji at cppo@baf.com.fj for verification prior to export. A copy of the email from the NPPO of Fiji confirming approval must be provided as evidence that the test results have been submitted to, and verified by, the importing country NPPO.
