Consignments are to be accompanied by a weed analysis report or seed analysis certificate (containing the scientific name of each identified species of seed found in the representative sample, record of any unidentified genera or species, weight of sample, certify the absence of quarantine weed seeds) from an ISTA or AOSA accredited Laboratory.
The ICRs are applicable to grass see mixture of Digitaria milanjiana, Urochloa humidicola, Stylosanthes guianensis and Centrosema pubescens seeds.
The consignment must be treated with insecticide Chlopryrifos or equivalent at recommended manufacturer's label rate and Dusted or coated with a broad spectrum fungicide 80% Mancozeb Tetramethylthiuram disulfide (TMDT) at recommended manufacturer's requirements.
Consignments are to be fumigated with:
- Phosphine at 5grm/m3 for 7 days at 25 degrees Celsius
AND
- Dusted or coated with a broad spectrum fungicide 80% Mancozeb Tetramethylthiuram disulfide (TMDT) at recommended manufacturer's requirements;
OR
- Fumigated with Methyl bromide at 24grms / m3 for 24 hours at 20-25 degrees Celsius
AND
- Dusted or coated with a broad spectrum fungicide 80% Mancozeb Tetramethylthiuram disulfide (TMDT) at recommended manufacturer's requirements.
