Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignments must be accompanied by a Weed Analysis Report or Seed Analysis Certificate (containing the scientific name of each identified species of seed found in the representative sample, record of any unidentified genera or species, weight of sample, sight the sample certificate, and certify the absence of quarantine weed seeds) issued by an ISTA or AOSA accredited Laboratory.

The consignment must be treated with imidacloprid or an equivalent insecticide at recommended manufacturer's requirements (registered label rates);

AND
The consignment must be dusted/coated with thiram or an equivalent fungicide at recommended manufacturer's requirements (registered label rates).

 

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
