Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be accompanied by a weed analysis report or seed analysis certificate (containing the scientific name of each identified species of seed found in the representative sample, record of any unidentified genera or species, weight of sample examined, cite the sampling certificate, certify the absence of quarantine weed seeds) from an ISTA or AOSA accredited Laboratory.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Consignments are to be accompanied by the original copy of the phytosanitary certificate.
Consignments are to be treated with Gaucho or an equivalent, at recommended manufacturers requirements.
 
Consignments are to be dusted or coated with Thiram or an equivalent, at recommended manufacturers requirements.
 
Consignments require both an insecticide and a fungicide treatment if required by the import permit.
 
Refer to the import permit to determine the appropriate treatment requirements.
 
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
