Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Exporter is to ensure any packing used is not hay, straw, chaff, or any decomposing material.
Consignments must be subject to a heat treatment process to ensure thenut is ready for consumption.

The Exporter is to provide a packers declaration or manufacturer’sdeclaration attesting to the treatment and present to the AuthorisedOfficer at time of inspection.

Details of treatment do not require endorsement on the Phytosanitarycertificate in the treatment section.
Import permits dated 19 February 2018, 1 August 2023 and 20 August 2024. Fijian NPPO advice that Endorsement 7746 does not apply to seed and grain imports to Fiji.
