This ICR applies to bamboo imported from other countries for export to Fiji that does not meet the re-export requirements and will be certified on a phytosanitary certificate for export. For imported bamboo that have arrived with a phytosanitary certificate from the exporting country that meets Fiji's import requirements, have remained sealed, and are being re-exported to Fiji, refer to the Bamboo (re-export) Micor case for Fiji.
The country of origin must be included in the additional product description field of the Request For Permit (RFP). To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Programs via email (EXDOCPlantPrograms@awe.gov.au).
Exporter is to ensure any packing used is not hay, straw, chaff, or any decomposing material.
